On 13th Jan 2022, Alberta has opened a new pathway for tech workers as Alberta needs more and more tech workers for its rapidly growing tech sector.

In order to be eligible for this program, a tech professional needs to have an Express Entry profile and he/she also needs to be eligible for the Alberta Express Entry Stream. Inland or outland Tech professionals can get PR if they have a valid job offer in an in-demand tech industry occupation. Tech professionals will also receive a letter of support from the Government of Alberta if they require a work permit.
