Alberta Immigration Nominee Program

One of the prominent provinces in Canada to not only work but also migrate and settle, Alberta in Western Canada is a fantastic choice for foreign individuals seeking Permanent Residence in Canada. With a flourishing economy and impressive geolocation, the province has a thriving oil industry and agricultural production. Alberta is also home to the largest cities of Canada, Calgary, and Edmonton.

Ideal for immigration and working, Alberta province has no provincial sales tax and the overall cost of living and housing is considerably cheaper. Candidates with skills to either start a business or fill job shortages in the labor market can apply for immigration through the Alberta Nominee Program. It also allows migration with the applicant’s immediate family members such as children, spouse, and common-law partner.

In order to attract more eligible foreign individuals for immigration, two new PNP streams were introduced in April, the Alberta Express Entry stream and Alberta Opportunity stream. In 2020 alone, 35,519 foreign individuals immigrated to Alberta through the AINP
